A little of the traditional, a little of the outre, this Halloween fabric and home decor collection is ready to adorn party table settings and spooky outfits.
As a teen, Halloween was one of my favorite holidays. I’d spend hours with my friends planning parties and decorations, always trying to outdo the year before. We made countless trips to the fabric and craft stores to fashion elaborate costumes, and put great thought into menus and props. It was an epic effort that would put an event planner to shame.
These days I barely find opportunity to carve a pumpkin, but it doesn’t make the holiday any less dear to me. For this mini fabric collection I wanted to create something fun and lighthearted … and outdo the year before. Did someone say snails in Halloween costumes? Yup, I went there.
I rounded out the ensemble with some basics: candy corn, skulls, and polka dots in traditional colors. (I’d like a skirt out of the polka dots, please.)
What will you do with these? Make a trick or treat bag, fashion a hair bow, dress your pup up? I’d love to see what you do with them, so please keep me in mind when you are being social?
