MY SKETCHBOOK
COLLECTION PREVIEW
One of the “fun” things about surface design is having to plan way ahead for seasonal fabric collections. Finding inspiration for a Christmas ensemble when its mid-July and 85 degrees is often a bit of a challenge. (You’ll note that a yule theme is sadly missing from my lineup this year.) My new plan is to design, or at least sketch, next season’s ideas a year ahead. That way the design prompts are all around me to absorb and translate into art.
Today, however, I’m still not quite with the new program. I’m technically way behind on a Valentine’s Day release. So I’ve compromised and combined it with a spring theme. Here are a couple Love Grows textile patterns. Find me on the usual social channels and let me know what you think! You can also preview the full collection on Spoonflower.
